Wowzas. I just ordered a skein of yarn on the 18th (I underestimated what I needed for a project) from this company I found online, Jimmy Beans Wool. It was flat rate shipping (only $4) and it just showed up. From Nevada! Considering when I order from Lush, it takes two weeks to show up from Vancouver, I’m impressed. And they sent me a pack of stitch markers as a thank you present for ordering. It was only an $11 skein of yarn! So letting my fellow fiber artists know, this is a company to check out!

I had this fuckery happen at work a few workplaces ago. My boss insisted I give up my lunch break twice a week to help her learn to knit. Soooo glad I don’t work there anymore.
“oh my gosh. did you make your sweater? you’re so good! you have to give me lessons.”
no, actually, i don’t.
